A bit more about me...

In 2009 I graduated from The University of Sunderland with first class honours degree in Illustration and Design.

I was highly Commended for the Macmillan Illustration Prize and the winner of the Seven Stories/Frances Lincoln Illustration Competition in 2013.

After completing my Masters degree from Edinburgh College of Art in 2013, I worked at a greeting card company in the North East of England designing cards for charities such as Macmillan Cancer Support, PDSA, RSPB, Epilepsy Action, Sue Ryder and Traidcraft.

After a year in the industry, I decided to make freelancing for children's book a full-time commitment, with work published by Walker Books, Frances Lincoln, Seven Stories and Egmont.
